Family

Pritchard Englefields team, with its fluent French and German speaking lawyers, provides legal advice and guidance on all aspects of family and personal relationship law, including cohabitation, civil partnership and marriage and children. We give pre-marriage/partnership advice, and draft agreements as to property sharing and rights relating to children. We will also be there in case there is a breakdown in the relationship, and have particular expertise in complex and high-value divorces and cohabitation disputes, particularly those involving jurisdictional disputes, overseas assets or cross-border elements. We can also advise on pension sharing matters.

The Family team is fully supported by the firms other departments, and has developed strong links with a number of trusted financial advisers and other professionals who help us to provide a fullyrounded service to our clients.

Our team promotes collaborative advice and support, and includes members of Resolution (a recognised group of family lawyers engaged in the amicable resolution of relationship disputes). We always aim to take the hostility out of relationship breakdown and promote early settlement where possible. The team is skilled in a number of alternate and successful methods of resolving family disputes that can mitigate both their financial and emotional impact.
